To the 130th Anniversary of Turar Ryskulov: life and activities, political repression against his family (overview of documents from the Archive of the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan)

Abstract

In the article, the author talks about the life and work of Turar Ryskulov on the basis of documents stored in the funds of the Archive of the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan. In addition, it provides an overview of archival data related to the political repressions of the Ryskulov family. The main focus is on memoirs written by family members. In the article, for the first time, documents accepted into the Archive from special state archives of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Republic of Kazakhstan and the General Prosecutor’s Office of the Republic of Kazakhstan were introduced into scientific circulation.
