For Reviewers
ORGANISATION AND CONDUCT OF PEER REVIEW
All manuscripts accepted for consideration undergo independent double-blind peer review, in which the author’s identity is not disclosed to the reviewer and the reviewer’s identity is not disclosed to the author.
For expert evaluation, a manuscript is sent to two independent reviewers – scholars or specialists with the appropriate qualifications and expertise in the field of research to which the article belongs.
Reviewers must maintain confidentiality, ensure the objectivity of their expert evaluation and inform the editorial office of any possible conflict of interest that may affect the impartiality of their conclusions.
The deadline for preparing a review is fourteen days from the date the reviewer receives the manuscript. Should an extension be necessary, the editorial office agrees on a new review timeline.
A review must contain a reasoned assessment of the manuscript, its identified strengths and weaknesses, specific comments and recommendations, and a conclusion as to whether the manuscript may be published.
If, following peer review, an article is returned for revision, the editorial office forwards the reviewers’ comments and recommendations to the author.
The author must submit the revised manuscript within ten days of receiving the comments, unless a different deadline has been agreed with the editorial office. If certain recommendations are not accepted, the author provides a justification for this decision.
If a second round of peer review is required, the revised manuscript is sent to the reviewers to verify the completeness and correctness of the changes made.
If a revised manuscript is not submitted within the established deadline without an extension agreed with the editorial office, upon its subsequent receipt it is treated as a new submission and undergoes the established review procedure.
Reviews are prepared using the editorial review form. Download the form in the required language, fill it in and upload it to the system together with your review (the "Review" section of the reviewer's dashboard).
