Formation and development of archival work in Mangistau

Abstract

Based on archival documents, the article examines and analyzes the complex path of archival business development in the Mangystau region. The main emphasis is placed on the analysis of the priority directions of the development of the archival sphere of the region of the activities of state archives and their achievements, as well as on familiarization with the composition and content of archival funds. Special attention is paid to the implementation of work on the preparation of scientific publications, improvement of the material and technical base and the process of introducing automated information technologies in the State Archive of the Mangystau region. The important activities carried out in order to improve the archival business in the region at the present stage are considered.
