Control of the Preservation of Documentary Heritage in Modern Archival Management (from the Experience of the Archive of the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan)

Abstract

The article analyzes the experience of the Archive of the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan in collaborating with organizations that serve as sources of acquisition. The key aspects of the emerging model for replacing control inspections with a rating system are examined. The article presents the initial results of testing the evaluation methodology of departmental archives’ activities of state organizations that are sources of acquisition for the Archive of the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
