Abstract

The article examines China’s achievements in the digitalization of the archival sector and explores the concept of smart archives, highlighting components such as smart governance, smart data, and smart services. The creation of an effective system for managing digital archival documents, digitizing records, and working with electronic documents, digital photographs, videos, audio recordings, operational data, and innovations amid digital transformation provides substantial support to the country’s socio-economic development.
