Abstract

The article discusses the decisions of the Presidium of the Central Committee of the CPSU of May 4, 1954 on the review of cases against persons convicted in “counter–revolutionary crimes” by both judicial and extrajudicial bodies, the review of cases against persons convicted by the NKVD-UNKVD troykas, local courts and military tribunals. An analysis was carried out based on the materials of the archival fund of the Karaganda regional court, documents of special departments.
