Famine data during the establishment of Soviet power in the Aral region

Abstract

Based on archival documents, the article examines the causes, consequences and problems of famine during the establishment of Soviet power in the Aral Sea region. It also describes the life of the Aral people during the famine, the pressure on them, the difficulties that arose during the transition of the nomadic population to a settled way of life.
