Peer review process

Zhana Arkhiv uses double-blind peer review: the reviewer does not know the author, and the author does not know the reviewer.

Review invitations are sent by e-mail and can be accepted or declined in the user account on the journal website.

Review criteria

  • relevance to the scope of the journal;
  • scholarly novelty and soundness of conclusions;
  • accurate use of archival sources and references;
  • structure and language of the text.

Deadline

Reviews are due within 30 calendar days of accepting the invitation. The review form is completed on the journal website.

Decision

The reviewer recommends one of the following: accept, accept with revisions, resubmit for review, decline. The final decision is made by the editorial board.
