Legal foundations for the rehabilitation of victims of political repression

Abstract

In the article, the author examines the legal foundations for the rehabilitation of victims of political repression. He classifies rehabilitation into legal, political, and social categories. The author has studied the activities of the commission dealing with the issues of rehabilitating the repressed. He notes the difficulties encountered in the implementation of this process. By researching archival documents as a source of legal information, the author proposes dividing the process of rehabilitating Alash Orda members into four stages.
