Зерттеу жұмысының негізгі нысаны ретінде Америкалық архившілер қоғамының тарапынан жүзеге асырылатын «Archives in context» атты кәсіби подкасты алынды. Автор дәстүрлі ғылыми коммуникация арналарымен қатар, подкастиң технологиясының архившілер қауымдастығын дамытудағы және тарихи жадыны сақтаудағы бірегей рөлін жан-жақты талдайды. Зерттеу барысында кешенді әдістеме қағидаттарына сүйене отырып, тақырыптық ауқымды анықтау үшін мазмұндық талдау (контент-анализ), архившілердің кәсіби тәжірибесін баяндау ерекшеліктерін ашу үшін нарративті талдау әдістері қолданылды. Зерттеу нәтижелері көрсеткендей, аталған подкаст архив мекемелерінің «жабық» жүйеден ашық қоғамдық диалог алаңына көшуіне ықпал етеді. Жоба архившілердің «сахна сыртындағы» күрделі әрі эмоционалды еңбегін, құжаттарды жинақтаудағы этикалық дилеммаларды көпшілікке түсінікті тілде жеткізудің тиімді құралы болып табылады. Мақала соңында шетелдік озық тәжірибені Қазақстанның архив жүйесіне бейімдеу және ауызша тарих бағытын жаңғырту бойынша нақты ғылыми-практикалық ұсыныстар берілген.
